Gingerbread House and Sugar Cookies

Right before Christmas and New Year’s Eve, there’s nothing better than a friend’s night out making Gingerbread Houses and Sugar Cookies!

Every year, a friend of mine has this tradition of inviting her closest friends and decorating these pastries. The cookies and houses are already made and all that’s left to do is fix them up to our liking.

This is a great experience and it allows everyone to meet those they haven’t met before and it makes bonding really easy and memorable.

Throughout this cold wintry night in Los Angeles, seven girls including myself, decorated pastries and talked about everything and nothing. Even though some of just met each other two hours prior, we talked about things as though we’d known each other our whole lives.

We cracked silly jokes around the fireplace outside and ate smores and donuts in the comfort of the blankets we borrowed.

It was a beautiful experience and overall something everyone should experience!
